Senior Applied Arts Offi cer, Arts Council of Wales Art Auction: 2pm Saturday 20th August at the Reading Room, Swansea Metropolitan University, Alexandra Road Over 50 artists from Wales and beyond have donated work to be auctioned in support of the Jane Phillips Award. With the actress Helen Griffi n as our Auctioneer for the day and hosted within the beautiful round Reading Room at Swansea Metropolitan University’s Alexandra Road campus, this will be an unforgettable day and an excellent opportunity to purchase work by established and emerging artists. Workshops Colour: Monday 8th August | Collage: Monday 15th August Pattern: Monday 22nd August Morning session 10am – 12pm | Afternoon session 1pm - 3pm Colour, Collage & Pattern workshops, inspired by the paintings of Jane Phillips and led by artist Keith Bayliss. The results of these workshops will be displayed alongside Jane’s paintings during August Bank Holiday weekend; 27th, 28th & 29th August 2011. £7.50 per workshop | Ages 5-13 only | Limited places | Booking and pre-payment essential
