Fall Break Time


Registration for summer classes remains open for residents and non-residents at www.chandleraz.gov/breaktime or in person at facilities. The fall Break Time will be available starting Friday, July 22 and will be mailed to subscribers prior to that date. Fall registration for classes and intersession camps begins on Saturday, August 6 for residents and Friday, August 12 for non-residents. For more information, call 480-782-2727.

Aquatics Centers Open Throughout Summer


Chandler Aquatics has six pools open daily throughout the summer and present a variety of special events. For details, see page 20 of the summer Break Time or follow @ChandlerAquatic on Twitter and Chandler Aquatics on Facebook for the latest


news. The three Chandler Spray Pads (Chuparosa, Desert Breeze and Espee) are open for 9 a.m.-7 p.m. in July and August. For specific hours at each pool, visit www.chandleraz.gov/aquatics or call Aquatics Hotline at 782-2733.

Dragonflies rule the wetlands at Veterans Oasis Park during the summer! Join the Environmental Education Center for its Dragonfly Day event on Saturday, July 30 from 7:30-10:30 a.m. This event is free and open to all ages as it celebrates these amazing insects through guided walks, crafts and presentations. Summer Family Nights at Tumbleweed Recreation Center


Join in the fun at Family Night at Tumbleweed Recreation Center every Wednesday throughout the summer from 5:30-7 p.m. There is a different activity each week.
