are located in each corner of the VIP lounge. Two K-array KU36 ultra compact subwoofers that are installed underneath the couches support the Kobra arrays. This zone is again powered by K-array amplification, this time it took just one KA10-10 four-channel class D amplifier.

Elsewhere in the bar area, six K-array KA50’s were specified. These have been fitted just below the ceiling line, in keeping with the desire for subtlety. The KA50 arrays are combined with two K-array compact KL12 single 12-inch subwoofers, and once again a single KA10-10 amplifier powers this area.

The K-array speakers even extend to the DJ monitoring system. Here a K-array KF12 coaxial active full range speaker, which is hidden in the ceiling above the DJ booth, was suggested as the solution. And to finish off the DJ kit are Sennheiser HD25 monitoring headphones and a Sennheiser G3 EW135 wireless microphone to address the dancefloor.

Dean explained why he selected K-array and why its products were ideal for this project: “The power to size ratio is impossible to beat. It’s super clear at high SPLs and in a small space, with nowhere to hide, it works great. It has a very small footprint and having hanging speakers was way too hard with such low ceilings. Going vertical and slim with the KK line solved this problem. We run Likuid at about 108
