ISE AND THE FIVE YEAR PLAN
Integrated Systems Event recently held a press conference which outlined the future vision for the show, and wit- nessed the formal signing of a five year contract with the RAI Exhibition Centre. ISE confirmed dates for the exhibition over the five year period, a unique oc- curance for an exhibition.
ISE also announced that from 2013, it will take over tenancy of all the halls in the RAI. This in turn will allow for new features within the event. One which has already been confirmed is an agreement with mondo*dr publishers, Mondiale Publishing Ltd. It will launch a new conference aimed at the Dynamic Events market - an event which will provide an added element to this already successful event. Full story online at

Protouch Ltd. will take control of the distribution and service of Vari-Lite automated luminaires in Israel and the West Bank. POWERSOFT ANNOUNCES EAW FOCUS SUPPORT FOR K SERIES AMPS
In 2010, Powersoft entered into a strategic partnership with EAW which would allow both companies to inte- grate proprietary EAW DSP algorithms into Powersoft’s K Series power amplifier line when equipped with DSP modules.
In June Powersoft has announced that the latest software upgrades for Powersoft’s K Series DSP amplifiers now support EAW Focusing as a result of this collaboration between EAW and Powersoft engineers. Full story online at

Markus Portworsnick has joined as DE Market National Sales Manager for Install Products, while Jürgen Bach- thaler has been appointed DE Market National Sales Manager for Touring Products.
Markus lives in Lüneburg, and comes to TCGI from Dekom Mietcenter in Hamburg, where he was Department Manager for corporate AV systems and events rentals. He has also been a managing partner at Medientechnik Engelhardt in Hannover. Markus also has a Bachelor Professional degree in Trade & Commerce (ICC).
