show. It announced the formation of Meyer Sound China, a subsidiary that will al- low the company strengthen its focus and support to the Chinese market. On reflection most exhibitors seemed to be pleased with the 2011 edition of Palm Expo Beijing. Commercial Director of Acustica Beyma, Espartaco Saez, expressed his gratitude: “IIR Exhibitions has done a great job and keeps improving every year. Palm Expo is an excellent platform for us to strengthen and increase our presence in the growing Chinese Audio market. Our booth was packed with visitors and enquiries.” General Manager of American DJ, Scott M. Davies echoed the positive vibe.
He said: “Palm Expo helps us grow our global presence by displaying our valued products to a wider range of international visitors, as well as to very important customers, potential customers and partners in the domestic Chinese market. This is a very important show to us, and we are convinced that it will only become more and more important in the years ahead.” Next year Palm Expo will move to a different location, however, confusingly the complex has the same name. The exhibition will take place on 24 – 27 May at the China International Exhibition Centre, 88 YuXiang Road, TianZhu Area, ShunYi District.
