Do you need a comprehensive design service? Send me the information below and, for £75 per room, I will send you drawings, samples of suggested fabrics, wallpaper, paint and flooring. Allow about a month and include your name, full address, e-mail and telephone number in block capitals.


1. Tell me the function of the room and its dimensions, plus the number of windows and which direction they face. Draw a simple plan of the room, showing doors plus architectural details.


2. Do you wish to retain any furnishings? Please list with swatches or accurate colour references.


3. Describe your lifestyle in this room. Casual or formal? Are there children, pets or other factors?


4. Do you have any definite preferences or dislikes in terms of colour, style or pat- tern?


5. Please list all the elements you wish to replace, such as wallpaper, paint, flooring, upholstery fabric, curtains and so on. Specify loose or fitted covers.


6. Give some indication of your budget. 7. Include a colour snapshot of the current room.
