2009 RED4 The 2009 vintage marks our sixth bottling of RED4


since the inaugural


vintage of 2004. Over that span, the idea behind the wine has remained unchanged—to craft a uniquely approachable blend of four varietals, melding the distinctive attributes of each into a harmonious whole. With the 2009 vintage, this vision resulted in a cuvée of Petite Sirah (42%), Grenache (28%), Syrah (22%), and Mourvèdre (8%), all from our estate vineyards. This blend marries the structure of Petite Sirah, the bright flavors of Grenache, the cherry spice qualities of Syrah and the rustic character of Mourvèdre, all of which converge to create a seamless, fruit- forward wine that can be enjoyed in its youth.


Tasting Notes The 2009 RED4


opens with heady aromas of boysenberry, black cherry,


cola and quince. The palate is supple and seamless, with juicy flavors of blueberry, raspberry and blackberry jam. Hints of white pepper linger on a structured finish.


Pairing Recommendations The soft, rich flavors and fine structure of the 2009 RED4


offer


tremendous versatility with food. Recommended pairings include rib-eye roast, grilled lamb chops and gourmet sausage pizza.


2010 WHITE4 Our 2010 WHITE4


NEW RELEASE is an eclectic blend that breaks the traditional rules by


uniting four grapes with origins in the Rhône Valley, Portugal, Bordeaux, and Italy: specifically Viognier (29%), Verdelho (28%), Sauvignon Blanc (27%), and Vermentino (16%). The idea behind WHITE4


is to take


the varietal path less traveled in the pursuit of a distinctively delicious wine. The 2010 vintage hails from our estate Huerhuero and Jardine Vineyards both located along the southeastern border of the city of Paso Robles, where each varietal has been carefully matched to the nuanced growing conditions of individual blocks. The resulting wine offers considerable complexity and balance at an approachable price.
