Enjoy “Swiss Days” during Harvest Wine Weekend Taste the flavors of Switzerland as we celebrate our 4th annual Swiss Days as part of the Paso Robles Harvest Wine Weekend on October 16-17. On both days, we will serve complimentary Raclette melted cheese, gourmet macaroni and cheese, and harvest desserts at our hospitality center from noon to 4:00 p.m. We will also offer special savings on select wines throughout the weekend. Stomp ‘Till You Drop: Join The Harvest Action at Vina Robles Get ready to join the harvest fray as we host a hands-on (and feet-on) harvest demonstration on Saturday, October 16 as part of the Paso Robles Harvest Wine Weekend. The action will take place in the demonstration vineyard adjacent to our hospitality center, and will conclude with a festive seasonal meal. Starting at 3:00 p.m., you will learn all of the tricks of the harvest trade, from leaf pulling
to crop thinning to ripeness measuring. You will then pick and stomp your own grapes, putting your personal imprint on the 2010 vintage. Your labors will be rewarded with a traditional Swiss-style harvest dinner prepared by

Vina Robles Showcases Virtuoso Pianists on November 10 We are once again excited to be an integral part of the annual Paderewski Festival, celebrating the legendary Polish pianist and composer Ignacy Paderewski.
This year, we will host a festival prelude performance on November 10 showcasing two young
piano virtuosos from Poland. Marian Michalski and Barbara Doroszuk, who currently attend the District Music School in Tarnow, Poland, will perform selections by Bach, Haydn, Chopin and, of course, Paderewski. For more information on the festival, visit www.paderewskifest.com

Vina Robles Sizzles at Winemaker’s Cookoff An inspired Vina Robles culinary team led by Chef and Director of Hospitality Martin Columberg earned “Honorable Mention” in the Judge’s Award category at the recent 12th annual Paso Robles Rotary Winemakers’ Cookoff. The Paso Robles Press took note of our team, observing
that they “tirelessly toiled, churning out hundreds of barbeque dry-rubbed pork loin dishes…The meat was accompanied by baby spinach and topped off with brown-sugar coated bacon and a dollop of sour cream sauce infused with local lavender.” Thirty-five wineries and more than 1,400 people joined the flavorful fun, helping raise more than $30,000 for local youth scholarships.
