New dialogs


In the spring of 2010 the Dean of Students made presentations to the Board of Trustees and the National Alumni Board to discuss the importance of moving forward in strengthening the relationship between the University and the Greek community. There was some amount of looking back, acknowledging tensions, and then leaving those behind. Those discussions, while not always easy, laid the groundwork for setting a new long-term agenda of cooperation that focuses on relationships, trust, and excellence. After all, without confronting the impediments of the past, problems can’t be fully addressed. An interactive electronic presentation was prepared and posted on the Greek Web page and the link was distributed to selected alumni and students.
