Smith Scholars Honor Their Benefactor
We thank the following physicians for their generosity. They are members
of the Society of Smith Scholars. All were touched by the generosity of Florence Smith, a physician’s daughter, who created a scholarship in 1952 at the Hampton Roads Community Foundation. Over the decades Smith Scholarships have helped more than 750 physicians, including those named below, pay for their education at Virginia medical schools.
