TinaPearce – Miller Homes Tina Pearce has been appointed as sales manager for the Southern Region of Miller Homes. Pearce has worked for 15 years on the agency side of the industry including such names as Halifax, Countrywide and most recently with spicerhaart land and new homes. “This is a wonderful opportunity to join a company with a great reputation for quality of product and service as highlighted by their customer satisfaction surveys,” she says. “I am very impressed by the vast range of homes from one-bedroom apartments through to five-bedroom houses, and the number of different ways they can help purchasers to buy their brand new home. I am really looking forward to working with the teams at our developments to keep our success going from strength to strength.”


Jonathan Morris – spicerhaart spicerhaart land & new homes has further expanded its land team with the arrival of Jonathan Morris. Morris joins spicerhaart having previously worked with managing director Peter Krelle for some years at Countrywide. “I am delighted that Jonathan has joined us” says Krelle. “He will cover all land activity for Felicity J Lord and the Essex and London offices of haart and SpicerMcColl. His experience in this geographic area is second to none and Jonathan will be a massive asset to both company and clients alike”. Morris will have offices at both Shad Thames and spicerhaart’s Colchester headquarters.


Errol Brown and Rick Gurney – VitrA Bathroom product specialists VitrA has made two strategic appointments in order to expand its sales team in the south of England. Both of the new area sales managers bring extensive industry experience to the positions. Errol Brown (bottom) has been in the bathroom products industry for nine years and was most recently employed at MX products as area sales manager. He will be VitrA’s ASM for the South Thames region. Rick Gurney (top) also has excellent experience of both the bathroom and kitchen sectors gleaned over the last 13 years. Gurney, who joins from BCG where he was southern area sales manager, will be the VitrA ASM for the North Thames area.


JohnOakley and Andrew Mayer – Designer Contracts Designer Contracts – a supplier of furniture, floorcoverings, curtain and lighting packages to the housebuilding industry – has announced two key appointments. John Oakley (left) takes the role of head of show home design and will head up a team of showhome-focused designers and sales specialists. He brings over 25 years of interior design and property marketing experience with him. Andrew Mayer (right) joins as a design sales manager, and will be working with Oakley to develop show home sales nationwide and increase Designer Contracts’ share of that market. Mayer has formerly worked for one of Designer Contracts’ competitors and successfully run his own contracts firm. Designer Contracts’ managing director Peter Kelsey said: “With their combined showroom industry contacts and expertise, John and Andrew can help us greatly increase our overall share of the showhome market. In time, we hope that Designer Contracts becomes as well known for its showroom design as it is for supplying floorcoverings, furniture, curtain and lighting packages.”
