Maylad and Vice-President RamilleQuiogue, offi cers, members and friends celebrated the feast day of Sts. Peter and Paul with a potluck picnic at Balboa Park last Saturday, June 25, 2011. The association was founded by Rick Salvador 15 years ago to promote goodwill, support and cooperation among former residents of Makati. Vice-President Jejomar C. Binay, the former Mayor of Makati City, signed the Sister City Proclamation between Makati and Los Angeles with the late Mayor Tom Bradley in 1998. The association gave monetary awards to the 2011 Valedictorians and Salutatorians of the nine Public HighSchools in Makati which were lauded by the school administrators and greatly appreciated by the recipients and their parents.
