Students End School Year on Happy Note

rain, the Centerpoint Community Church held their final field day for the students aged preschool through eighth grade. There were many outdoor games, water balloons, and fun for the elementary kids, taking care of the whole school. Laughter came from everywhere, making it a day to end the school year on a happy note. Many games were continually played over and over again until time to catch the buses to go home.

Named Honorary Member of American Legion Post 63

Helen Razzamoni, whose father had originally served in the Battle of the Bulge, Army 94th Division, became an Honorary Member of the American Legion Post 63 at a pinning ceremony held at Salemhaven last week—on the same day as her 85th birthday. Planned by Stephanie Micklon, Community Liaison at Salemhaven, the ceremony featured


the American Legionnaires Band to entertain the residents, and the American Legion and Ladies Auxiliary helped to serve a very tasty lunch to all the residents. Helen and her family had big, proud smiles all over their faces in celebrating her 85th birthday as well as her father’s accomplishments. This was a day to be well remembered!
