St Peterstock ! at St Peters CE Junior School in Tavistock Local Music Festival
St Peter’s & St Rumon’s Schools are holding their annual Summer Fair at
St Peter’s School, Greenlands from 3 - 10 pm
As usual, there will be plenty of fun and games for everyone including a Bouncy Castle, BBQ, Bar, Cream Teas, Craft Stalls, Cakes etc. However, this year, the school field will be transformed into a mini-Glastonbury as the schools host their own Music Festival - St Peterstock!
This exciting new addition to the traditional Summer Fair will showcase local talent and celebrate the musical links at the school. Head Teacher of St. Peter’s, Clare Wesson, says “We have a fantastic line up of bands and musicians, all of whom have a connection to our school and we are looking forward to a really exciting evening of live music.”
The line up includes “Ten Zero One”, who are finalists in this year’s prestigious “Live and Unsigned” competition (final to be held at the 02 Arena, London on 23rd July) featuring Jack Rawlings, ex pupil - catch them performing locally while you can! Also on stage will be Edd Lane, talented singer songwriter and ex pupil, and musicians from Tavistock College.
Completing the line-up will be “Gobi”, a lively and talented young six piece Ska/Reggae band from Exeter. The different musicians that form the band have a variety of backgrounds, from jazz to folk, and they have managed to forge a sound all of their own. Looking forward to a gig packed summer the band are currently recording and building up a large repertoire of originals to spring on the summer crowds and towards the end of the year they plan to record a full EP. In the meantime, you can listen to the energetic sounds of Matt Carter (keys), Alex Wesson (trombone), Ali Clements (trumpet), Charlie Grimwood (drums), James Beer (bass) and Ben Lee (vocals and guitar) at

Admission to the Fair/Festival is £1 per person which includes entry into the Lucky Programme Prize Draw. The BBQ and bar will be open throughout, some stalls may close at 6pm
