She is a passionate supporter of the campaign against the ‘Don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy, which bans gay US service personnel from being
open about their sexuality. Danni Minogue has performed regularly at
the London nightclub G-A-Y. She has said that gay culture has always been a part of her music, and, by way of giving thanks to her massive gay following, openly supports gay rights causes for social equality. However, the quest for equality doesn’t stop at
