the hangover Stay safe at Pride
BuMPEr BrEKKiE
h2o Stay hydrated and keep a bottle of water with you. It’s a long day.
There’s nothing like carb-loading to ease your bitchin’ pride hangover. Go for all the trimmings and double up on toast. Don’t scrimp on drinks either: a large fruit smoothie and mug of tea are failsafes, chased down with an Alka Seltzer or a vit C drink like Barocca. The caffeine boost from the tea and vitamins in the fresh fruit will work absolute wonders.
Eat on the street Think you haven’t got time to eat throughout the day? Think again. That quick trip to China Town, Balans, or even to the hotdog guy in the street will serve you well.
wear sunscreen Slap the white stuff on, or even better... get a hottie to do it for you.
tips for the morning after Bad tv
There’s nothing like curling up on the sofa with your duvet and some bad telly when you’re feeling a touch worse for wear. Though you might sneer atMade in Chelsea et al, boy do they serve their purpose! The sheen that emanates from straight-as-a-die Ollie’s hair will make you feel instantly better. Other hangover cures straight out the box include revisits toFriends episodes,Glee or any movies with a romcom theme. Failing that laugh till you cry at theHangover 2 movie.
wrap it up before you smack it up Boys, there’s no excuse for unsafe sex when every stall at Pride will be doling out johnnies like hot cakes.
Keep your eye on the ball (and on your drink) Keep your drink in view and don’t let a stranger watch it for you.
ride safe Only use licensed cabs and, especially if you’ve picked up someone
unknown, tell a friend where you’re going.

dEtox thEraPy
After hitting it a little too hard on Pride night, a health kick might sound like a wise idea. Think how much more time you’ll have to do something useful. Half the weekend will no longer be written off by a sore head. Failing full-on fitness, why not take up embroidery or go see some interesting stuff.
lazy days
How about herding up some fellow wearied souls and spend the morning after in the park (weather permitting). Spark up the bbq and put something sunny on the iPod. Alternatively, wile the hours away spotting bedraggled pridegoers on the walk of shame home from central London.
aftEr PridE Party
Alternatively, give up and revisit all the fun you had the previous day and do it all over again. Get your mates together,
disguise the hangover and head for the most famous cure – hair of the dog.
