Who you’ll see atpride

HERE’S A SNEAK PREVIEW OF WHO YOU CAN EXPECT TO SEE AT THIS YEAR’S LONDON FESTIVAL.

LLOYD DANIELS The talent of Lloyd Daniels has not gone

unnoticed. He was, at 16, the youngest act in the X Factor of 2009. The Welsh lad was loved by the public for his fabulous voice and self-effacing manner. Though he was eliminated from the competition, finishing in fifth place, Daniels performed a homecoming concert outside the St David’s Centre in Cardiff, and toured with the X Factor live tour.

THE ORIGINAL BUCKS FIZZ

The pop trio are a national institution and have been famous since winning the Eurovision Song Contest with their skirt-ripping routine during Making Your Mind Up, back in 1981. The group went on to have a massive recording career around the world, with their biggest success in the UK, where they had three No.1 singles, including Land of Make Believe and My Camera Never Lies, making them one of the top-selling groups of the 80s. The band, now consisting of original members Mike Nolan, Jay Aston and Cheryl Baker are this year celebrating 30 years since winning the contest with a brand new album - the first new material in over 20 years.

SIX-D If you’re looking

for the Future of Pop, then you’ve come to the right place. Six D are a twelve-legged streetdance crew who sound as good as they look and they are tipped to hit the top of the charts just after Pride London with their debut single Best Damn Night. With an average age of 21, they include world champion street dancer Levon de Silva, sassy lead singer Chantelle Bernard, worldly-wise Kieran Edmonds, outspoken Cassie MacMillan and cool Pierre Angus, and are the most thrilling thing to happen to the UK pop world in a long, long time. Joining movies like Streetdance 3D and Step Up, and the triumph of acts such as Diversity on Britain’s Got T

alent, Six-

D are the latest addition to the global vogue for street dance.
