After 2.5 years of producing this little ole magazine,
things are beginning to happen. Big things. I am always reminded that ‘visibility breeds credibility’
...always. Stay in the game long enough you will be
ok...better than ok...you’ll be a winner!
Business, love, life and your passions will thrive and
succeed. So it is with our mission to save our American Mustang, to raise awareness of their plight and to make a difference. Our wonderful government seems to buck us at every corner and they do make us do our due dili-
gence and pull FOIA documents, GAO reports, and act like watch-dogs; always on guard, always bare fanged!
Recently when Madeleine Pickens was denied the older horses in the BLM holding
pens too her Mustang Monument Ranch she took a slightly different turn and rescued 200+ Paiute mustangs from slaughter and moved them, in an emotional release, to her 14, 000 acre ranch in
Nevada...it was enough to make even the toughest cowboy cry.
Now I will tell you, being in my biz, you hear all kinds of “experts” on the whys
and wherefore’s of what others are
doing...and they are usually wrong. I say lets all exhale. Lets regroup and lets stop all the judgment. Before you open your mouth to criticize another, ask yourself, ‘What am I doing to contribute?’ …. Cause we all know,
if you ain’t part of the solution you are part of the problem. Kudos to MP for getting this done and saving these mighty mustangs from certain
slaughter. Kudos to the folks who helped her and are out there getting it done; Jill, Laura, John, Chris, Craig, Ginger, Neda, RT & EM...a song comes to my mind, ‘when the Saints go marching in’
...yes, you want to be amongst that
number...growing stronger everyday.
Gracias to Representative Jim Moran (D-Va.) our man on the Hill against horse slaughter taking a stand and putting it in writing!
