PABLO’S PANADERIA, owned by Pablo Maldonado, has been located in the heart of Old Town for six years. It’s often packed with people, but the wait is never long. Its menu ranges from its popular torta to a remarkable chili rellenos. Pablo’s Giant Burrito ($6.50) is affordable, especially for its bulky size. It’s packed with beans, cheese, rice, avocado and your choice of meat. THAT LITTLE MEXICAN PLACE is a family operated restaurant that serves up huge portions of freshly made dishes. Formerly located in the Frandor shopping center, owner Virginia Sanchez relocated to a larger location on Lansing’s Southside in May. Its Tex-Mex Burrito ($9.99) is massive. It’s served in a giant flour tor- tilla and filled with rice, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and your choice of meat. Owned by Carlos Gutiérrez, its modest location (a trailer) offers up real-deal Mexican dishes. Its big burrito ($5.50) comes served on a flour tortilla with beans, rice, lettuce, tomato, onions, cheese, sour cream and your choice of meat.
