Looking Ahead

ECMOD Direct Commerce Show and Data Driven Business Week together at Business Design Centre November 30 – December 1st 2011

E

CMOD Direct Commerce Show organiser Synergy Partnership Ltd reached agreement earlier this year with Rising Media Ltd to co-locate Data Driven Business

Week for its UK launch.

Now in its 21st year, the UK-based ECMOD Direct Commerce Show serves the catalogue, home shopping and multichannel retailing community, together with business to business distributors and pure-play online businesses. Organised by Synergy Partnership Ltd, the event is also home to the CatEx Direct Commerce Association Village – a zone dedicated to associate members and sponsors of the not-for-profit trade group CatEx Direct Commerce Association.

In a sector that is constantly evolving and re-inventing itself, direct commerce businesses are harnessing a full array of media and channels to market in order to extend their reach and offer their customers the ultimate in convenient shopping. No stone can be left unturned in the search for the very best performance from catalogues, mobile, pop-up stores, TV shopping, customer magazines, upmarket party plan, affiliate marketing, online shopping malls, loose inserts, social commerce, mail and email, micro-sites and, indeed, their websites. For over two decades, ECMOD has grown in tandem with this burgeoning sector aiming always to provide education, insight and access to expertise and quality solutions. ECMOD has vital 360-degree understanding and focus on all the requirements of client companies in the direct commerce arena and offers senior client company executives and specialist suppliers a unique forum in which to explore opportunities and gain knowledge.

ECMOD Direct Commerce Show was the “birthplace” of the Catalogue Exchange – now the CatEx Direct Commerce Association, and continues to work closely with its elected Board. The dedicated area for CatEx members within the main show hall provides all with excellent networking and business building opportunities. Those opportunities will be enhanced by the addition of the Data Driven Business Week conferences and its Exhibition Hall zone.

Data Driven Business Week, produced in San Francisco and New York by Rising Media, is a suite of three separate conferences plus attached exhibition for the ecommerce and online marketing community, covering analytics, optimization and conversion. Conversion Conference, eMetrics Marketing Optimization Summit, & Predictive Analytics World will run alongside the ECMOD Direct Commerce conference with each attracting its own audience but joining together for a vibrant exhibition showcase and Supplier of the Year Awards. Business Design Centre venue is new to ECMOD this year and was chosen specifically for its great ambience as well as its central London location.

A specially designated zone of the ECMOD Direct Commerce exhibition floor will feature Data Driven Business Week sponsors and exhibitors and will offer a greatly extended range of solution and service offerings, of interest both to its own delegates and visitors as well as those who regularly attend ECMOD. Similarly, it is expected that delegates and visitors of Data Driven Business Week will find many interesting suppliers of great relevance to them within the ECMOD Direct Commerce Marketplace and CatEx zones of the exhibition floor.

Full conference programmes for each of the events will be published shortly. Visitor registration and additional information about the event is now available at www.ecmod360.co.uk
