hello from jennifer

Summer is here... I don’t know where the time goes. Since my last note to you I have given birth to the most beautiful baby girl, Emmaleigh Elizabeth Carroll. I honestly didn’t know it was possible to love someone as much as I love her. Everyday she touches my heart with a look, laugh, and sometimes

a cry. I don’t know how I ever lived without her. Thank you for your patience while I took a break and adjusted to life as a new mommy. Emma and I are beginning to find our rhythm enough for me to begin dipping my toes back in the pool of my work passions. And so I am excited to present to you the July 2011 issue of Celebrating Everyday Life, a collection of some inspiring (hopefully!) crafts and recipes.

Let music swell the breeze, And ring from all the trees Sweet freedom’s song;

I was so excited to work on this issue because I love the fourth of July! It’s a chance to delve into good ole’ Americana. To proudly wave the red, white & blue and shed a tear as we see the fireworks light up the night sky. I hope you find time to stop and give thanks for the freedom that we enjoy in these great United States. I’d dearly love to hear your opinion of this issue - so please email me!
