TIME MANAGEMENT

With the average PA working around seven hours a day – or eight if you work through lunch as many of you routinely do – planning your time and finding speedy shortcuts is imperative to keeping on top of your workload. Whether you’re working for just one boss or are responsi- ble for a team of managers it’s likely that your intray will be piling up considerably quicker than you can work through it. And even if you feel that you have sufficient time to keep on top of your work demands wouldn’t it be nice to take the rush out of work, enabling you to calmly attend to one demand after the other without feeling harried or stressed. Perhaps even taking that full hour for lunch, rather than risking indigestion as you gobble a sandwich down between chasing up paperwork and locating a hotel for the boss. And imagine a life where leaving work at 5pm is the norm as opposed to a bonus? It really is possible – and we have just the tips to help make it happen.
