Vinci Park celebrates its 10th anniversary
Vinci Park, the specialist parking operator, celebrates a decade of service in the UK market this year
S
upported by the Vinci Group, Vinci Park doubled in size in the UK in September 2010 with the acquisition of Meteor Parking from the Go-Ahead Group. The addition of Meteor’s
portfolio of 40,000 car parking spaces in 2010 as well as those of Karspace Management acquired the previous August, have built on the company’s strong track record in industry sectors including retail. In the UK, Vinci Park employs 1,200 people working across 100
contracts. This totals 140,000 parking spaces on and off-street, many of which are at the 20 plus retail sites that Vinci Park manages in the UK, including Cardiff’s Adam Street and Eagles Meadow, Wrexham. “To mark our 10th anniversary in the UK, we brought all our staff
together at their local contract bases to hear about the group’s ethos and achievements over the last decade, followed by a bit of a party,” said Vinci Park commercial director Phillip Herring. “We are very proud to share our celebrations with the 1,200 people who have helped make Vinci Park what it is today, and look forward to sharing many more successes over the next decade.”
