If you haven‟t got your own bikes don‟t worry, its simple to hire all that you need from cycle helmets to child trailers and tag-a-longs. Otter Cycle Hire is positioned right on the start of the Tarka Trail in Braunton and can cater for all your cycling needs; they can also offer welcome drinks and ice creams! Only 20 yards from the traffic free Tarka Trail and Braunton‟s car park. They can cater for all the family as well as individuals. They have a wide range of All Terrain Bikes (A.T.B.) for ladies and gents as well as boys and girls. If you have smaller children in your party then Otter Cycle Hire can offer children‟s tag-a-longs and buggies (trailers) as well as fully harnessed child seats. Tandems are available if you like the idea of teamwork! You can also hire all sizes of safety helmets. It is so rewarding to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the fresh air together as a family, even if your children aren‟t old enough or able to ride alone. They will simply love the cool breeze on their faces and the feeling of exhilaration as they travel along. They are sure to sleep soundly after all that fresh air and exercise as well! You can hire bikes and equipment for the whole day (9am-5pm) or for half a day (9am - 1pm or 1pm - 5pm). Please bear in mind how long your journey will take and make sure you leave enough time to get back to base by 1pm (this is especially important as others will be waiting to hire your bike for the afternoon) or 5pm. If you are planning a full day cycling you can pre-book your bike to ensure that it is waiting for you. Please remember that a deposit will be required as will proof of identity. Otter Cycle Hire welcomes under 16 year olds as long as they are with an adult.
