Golf at The Peaks
After a very wet spring with several additional feet of snow falling, the Telluride Golf Course at The Peaks opened Friday, May 27, with great conditions. “The additional snow this spring has kept the course well hydrated and protected it from the spring winds,” according to Telluride Golf Course superintendent, Kevin Cahalane. “The fairways and greens are in excellent shape and ready for play.”
The Pro Shop in The Peaks offers lessons from PGA certified professionals, custom club fitting and the latest in equipment and apparel.

Tennis
The Peaks Resort & Spa announced the partnership with Winning Touch Tennis to provide services and amenities to the Telluride Mountain Village Tennis Club this year. Located at the Peaks Resort & Spa, the TMVTC will offer a variety of new programs, celebrations, mixers, and instructional options commencing in June 2011.
Winning Touch Tennis is a professional owner/operator of three facilities in the Princeton, New Jersey area, and is the new exclusive operator of the tennis programs at The Peaks.
The new programs kicked off June 4, with an introduction to Director of Tennis and President of WTT, Bill Kurtain. Kurtain is certified by the United States Professional Tennis Association as a P1 and currently holds first vice president position of USPTA Middles States Division. Mine Shaft Game Room The New Mine Shaft Game Room opened to
fabulous reviews this spring. With over 15 games, there’s something for the whole family! The games are all on free play for everyone to enjoy while in residence. Air hockey, pool, foosball, and some of the newest arcade games are just a few of the reasons to visit the Mine Shaft Game Room, located on the second floor.

Great Room
& Palmyra Decks The Great Room and Palmyra Decks opened to rave reviews this past winter and as we roll into summer, The Decks are the place to see and be seen. Look for The Peaks to introduce a Sunday Brunch with live music by Jeff Pine beginning this July.
