I blame You for my addictions... My addiction and adoration and wholly consuming love for all things in Your kingdom
I blame You for the soft heart you have developed in me that is sick and tired with the damage the enemy has done
I blame God for giving me a new life that was too big for me once and has caused me to grow into it
For showing me things so far ahead, that my eyes couldn’t see them with these natural eyes
I blame You for showing me about true love and friendship so much so that my friends didn’t fit the category and either came in my direction or wouldn’t drag me in theirs anymore
For showing me things I didn’t know I liked
But in all that... I thank AND blame You for the awesome life I could never have found without you!
... For the unparalleled happiness I could never have achieved through drugs, drink, thrill seeking, money, power, respect, authority, fame, sex, love or any other thing in this universe in heaven or earth!
