We’ve given this bumper-packed issue a ‘weddings’ theme! Well, after all it’s official, summer is here - the most beautiful time of the year to get married!

With the warmer weather upon us and the summer holidays approaching, there are so many wonderful places on our doorstep that are well worth visiting. A place that immediately springs to mind is Stoke Bruerne. See our feature on this lovely picturesque waterside village (pages 18-21).
A charity very close to mine and my features editor’s hearts is the RSPCA. See Mark Roberts’ interview with Hayley Battison on page 13 and read how you can help raise towards the funds required to build a much needed animal rehoming facility in Northamptonshire. You really don’t need to spend out hundreds of pounds on dogs when so many desperately need a home such as my gorgeous dog Blossom who I rescued from an animal rescue centre when she was just 8 months old.
