Zeitgeist
There’s a Red Dragon In my sight. A Red Dragon that travels the brain waves
and synapses Of every nervous breakdown. Complacently placed traps, Which I set myself. When I am faced with uncertainty Or fear, I can always count on the Red Dragon to reflect in the mirror. Reminding me that I can have the World and all of her perks. But this world is only temporary, he’s a slick, slendered find-shaped Superficial queen, Who walks into a room purposely dressed to shift your minds Into a Lusting-sex deficiency mode. The Red Dragon finally stole, God’s true crown. I am distorted, as a legion of Angels Come to fight for my intangible temple. This is a battle, a battle That began with an Angel so bold to even think he was capable Of Perfection. I wake up in a field of sun-dried prarie grass with the chill of an early morning spring. Struggling with the gravitational pull of the earth’s forces, a battlefield of death and dismay. Angels occupied all the sky, like a parade of fireworks exploding. Gold and white beams of trajectory light, dismantling any shadows of Obscurity. The Red Dragon resurfaced from his cave of Watered down lies. Grabbing, and sending multiple needle puntures into the shoulders of my angel. Dropping me. I embark on the journey of a free falling nightmare. Landing, my peace is enflamed as fire alarm competes with the sanity for thinking space. I see a sky on fire Burning, and broken As Yang finally lost to the persistent advances of Yin. There he stood. A Red Dragon grinning with teeth as yellow as sulfur. His eyes like a solar eclipse, Mocking the women who begged for their children’s life. God no longer stood in his kingdom. God no longer reigned with His Glory. When I realized the Red Dragon won his battle Using me.
