Passport – is it valid? Enough blank pages for visa stamps? Does it need to be machine readable? Visa – is it required?


Insurance and health cover – Check you’re adequately covered. Do you need an EHIC (European Health Insurance Card)?

Money – Cash, Traveller’s cheques, ATM card or a combination? Does your ATM card work abroad? Is your money in the appropriate account?
