Robin Levin, the librarian at the Fort


Washakie School and Community Library recently received a Golden Apple Award from the Arch Coal Foundation.


“Golden Apple recipients rank among the top scorers in the Arch Coal teacher recogni- tion program, second only to recipients of the Arch Coal Teacher Achievement Award, the foundation’s highest honor,” Arch Coal Inc. vice president Greg Schaefer said in a press release.

Washakie School and Community Center Librarian Robin Levin


Fort Washakie School and Community Librarian, Robin Levin received the Arch Coal Golden Apple Award this year.


Levin for the award. Levin then had to com- plete an application that included a letters of recommendation and essays on topics includ- ing her philosophy of education. Levin was not recognized by the Arch Coal


Teacher Achievement Award, but was recog- nized in the second round of awards. Eight to ten Wyoming teachers receive the Golden Apple Award each year. Levin is the first Wyoming librarian to be recognized by the Arch Coal Foundation.
