KIDS Teen Adventure Camps Begin June 6


Don’t spend all summer sitting on the couch or in front of the computer – come check out


Teen Adventure Camp at Andersen Junior High School! Sign up with a friend, meet new people, swim, play fun games and go on field trips. The six-week camp is for teens entering 7th, 8th or 9th grades from June 6 to July 15. Register for all six weeks or individual weeks beginning May 7 at www.chandleraz.gov.breaktime. Help Chandler Prepare for Centennial Celebration!


A community celebration is coming in 2012 to mark the City of Chandler’s 100th birthday. There will be a variety of cultural and historical events during the year. SanTan FAMILY FUN Summer Camp Openings


There are still some openings for youth summer camps for boys and girls ages 5-12 at Tumbleweed Recreation Center, Snedigar Recreation Center and the Environmental Education Center. Cool Off With Chandler Aquatics!


Chandler Aquatics has 6 Aquatic Centers open for the summer! All the pools will be open daily for the season from June 2-July 24. Each facility has different operational schedules. There will be several special events throughout the summer, see page 20 of the summer Break Time for details. Wednesday Family Nights at Tumbleweed Recreation Center


Join in the fun at Family Night at Tumbleweed Recreation Center every Wednesday throughout the summer from 5:30-7:30 p.m. There is a different activity each week. The fee is $2 ($3 for non-resident ages 1-12) and $3 ($5 for non-residents ages 13-17). Call 480-782-2900 or visit www.chandleraz.gov/tumbleweed for more information.


The summer Break Time magazine featuring Chandler Recreation classes in June, July and August and youth arts, sports and nature camps from June 6 - July 22 is now available. Registration is open for residents and non-residents.
