sandyperry@ntlworld.com We meet at 7:30 pm on the last Tuesday of every month; except for August and December when we usually go out for dinner together. Venue: The Millennium Community Centre (Road signs read: The Village Hall), Burberry Road, Buckden, PE19. We provide an informal setting for people with diabetes, carers, and those who are simply interested in diabetes. We usually have speakers who are interesting and informative and who also provide an opportunity for questions and answers. Simply come to one of our meetings all are welcome and there are no charges.

Our local branch courses are free for students on income-based benefits, and grants are available for others with a low household income. Friends of the Queen Elizabeth School David Stokes Tel: 01480 454 277 The Friends of the Queen Elizabeth School, a registered charity, was founded in 1981 to assist in the preservation of the Elizabeth 1 building and to promote activities for the benefit of all. Events of general interest are organised, including talks and concerts. In addition the “Friends” research local history and run the Porch Museum. This museum explores many aspects of the history of the town, illustrated by artefacts, board displays and film. The museum is open on twelve days over the summer. Please refer to the notice board on the school building for exact dates and times the museum is open and information about other events. New members are very welcome.

Hullabaloo is a new club for Huntingdon for socialising and the chance to participate in occasional charity events or service to the benefit of the local community. Weekly meetings and events include anything from a pub meal to making up a quiz team, visiting a music venue or joining a weekend ramble. You chose which appeals to you. On the first Monday of each month there is a business meeting at the George Hotel at 7.30 pm. All welcome after 7.30 pm.
