The Canadian Youth Business Foun- dation (CYBF) has partnered with To- ronto’s own Spin Master, the most innovative, most fun, and one of the world’s largest children’s entertainment companies, to launch the Spin Master Innovation Fund, created in recognition that everyone with an innovative busi- ness idea has to start somewhere and have someone believe in them.
Your big idea may be eligible to receive a Spin Master Innovation Fund start-up package. This summer, up to 10 inno- vative young Canadian entrepreneurs will get the financing, mentoring and support they need to transform their business plan into a viable business.
The Spin Master Innovation Fund start-up package gets you: • Up to $50,000 in start-up financing
provided by CYBF and its affiliate, En- trepreneur Gateway Canada. We’re willing to take a chance on your char- acter – no collateral is required and you’ll get low interest rates with no principal repayment in the first year. • A hand-matched mentor from CYBF’s world-class mentoring pro- gram, as well as select Spin Master executives for the first two years to help you navigate the challenges of getting your big idea off the ground. • A paid trip to Toronto to attend a two-day Innovation Launch Pad Work- shop where you will have access to a Spin Master Innovation Fund Advisory Team for invaluable feedback as well as workshops and networking to help you run your business better. • Online Innovation Peer Group, pro- viding you with exclusive access to webinars and business tips from Spin Master and other business advisors.
