regular Yankee Candle welcomes three
new European distributors Yankee Candle has announced the appointment of three new companies into its team of European distributors. Zumtobel Kerzen
GmbH & Co KG will take control of Yankee Candle distribution in Austria while Hollex Slovakia, s.r.o. will be the brand’s distributor in Slovakia and
Dat.con in Croatia. All three companies
are established in the home fragrance markets in their respective territories, becoming a natural addition to Yankee Candle’s strong team of European distributors.
Founded in 1862, Zumtobel Kerzen, Austria has remained in family hands since its establishment, providing a well-respected business to continue Yankee Candle Europe’s steady growth. Merging with Yankee’s previous Austrian distributor, Lechner in January 2011, the company has become one of the country’s leading wholesalers for candles and candle accessories. Hollex Slovakia specialises in gifts, home fragrance and accessories for the home. The company originally restored and resold furniture until 2004 when Hollex expanded into wholesale decorative goods. With many well-known brands under their umbrella, Yankee Candle sits comfortably in their product offering, bringing the country a reliable name in premium home fragrance. Established in 1992,
Dat.con, Croatia has successfully developed and evolved to now employ a team of 40. Familiar with Yankee Candle and the quality the brand offers,
Dat.con say they recognised the opportunity for a good business partnership with a brand that is similarly recognised around the world. [Pictured are ‘Fluffy Towels’ and ‘Bahama Breeze’ from Yankee’s new summer fragrances] Tel: 01454 454500 web:

Elegant accessories
Long constrained families of craftsmen, artisans and artists, margined by lack of adequate promotion and oppressing forces, emerge to offer the sophisticated European consumer, elegant accessories for the home of refi ned taste.
For several years these industrious artisans have prepared themselves to achieve production capacity to project their products to new heights and reach new horizons. Beautiful vases, sophisticated wall frames, leather handbags with gorgeous design colour and relief, are now available in Europe, where before they had to be acquired by the savvy traveller taking the time to reach remote country locations in Mexico, like the picturesque Tlaquepaque, Pátzcuaro or the quaint San Miguel de Allende, bringing home unique pieces to enhance contemporary and avant-garde homes and lofts. Premiere Exclusives UK Ltd., an experienced foreign trade specialist has
carefully selected regional producers that have had their work exhibited in some European venues and that have the necessary structure and organization to produce suffi cient quantities to make their work widely available and yet retain the exclusivity to be eye-catching and conversation pieces.
Stunning photos and examples of the work soon to be available to the UK market can be seen on their website. [Pictured is a Kyanita jewellery piece]
