Kimberly & Frank

How did you two meet? It’s ironic that we met at Lowes Hardware store in Scottsdale, Arizona and we were both working on DIY projects. He wanted to re-tile his kitchen and I was looking to redo my bathroom tile. We both were focusing on the same tile and so that struck up a conversation between us. He then asked me what project I was working on so we started talking and eventually he asked for my number. He took me out that night and the rest is history. So we went “from the tile aisle to down the aisle”!!!

How long was your engagement? We were engaged May 28, 2010, and then married on November 20, 2010. So about 6 months, it was a lot of hard work trying to get everything done, but I got all my projects done in time and it was worth it. They all turned out beautiful! Thanks to my mother and sister, we worked on all the projects together to get it all done in time.

What inspired your wedding theme? I found this beautiful gold metallic cardstock that I wanted to use for my invitations. It had a beautiful damask pattern on it and this design inspired me for the overall theme for the wedding. I wanted our wedding to have traditional but modern feel with all the glitz and glamour. The more bling the better!

What inspired your wedding color pallet? Purple has always been my favorite color since I was a child and wanted to incorporate different shades of purple, with lavender, creams and silver.
