Siddharth Rajan rode 100 km in 17 hr from 25-26 Mar 2005, making this the longest ride on a uni- cycle on record. His route stretched from his home
at Ang Mo Kio to East Coast Park, to Boon Lay and then back to Ang Mo Kio.

Siddharth Rajan at- tempted his 3 Oceans Unicycle Tour in 2009. The Monash University post-graduate student is the fi rst to unicycle across Australia, from the west to the east coast, along the Australian southern coast. He started from Perth on 31 May 2009 and arrived in Nowra
on 12 Dec 2009, cycling 5,685 km and 86 days on the road. At Adelaide, he took a three-month break to do his thesis.

Zeng Yukai cycled 142.4 km in six hours at an event organised by Environmental Challenge Organisation (Sin- gapore) on 7 Jun 2008 at Atrium@Orchard.

Careen Wong set the ladies’ record with a distance of 123 km. It was at the Aibi Bikeathon held at White Sands on 15 Sep 2007.

Wu Junfeng, a member of the Veloroutes Cycling Team achieved 64.09 km in 1 hr using a bicycle mounted on a stand during the Double A Paper Record Breakers Ultimate Challenge at Plaza Singapura on 9 Oct 2004. Michelle Prefontaine, took the Women’s title for cycling 57 km.

First Motorcycle Trip Around The World
Michael and Sonya Fong were the fi rst couple to set out on a world motorcycle trip, which they called Baby Quek’s Big Adventure, on 17 Sep 1995. They travelled for nearly two years, returning on 14 May 1997. Riding their 1,000cc BMW motorcycle, Baby Quek, their trip was also to raise funds for children’s charities.
A mixed relay team covered 1,668 laps or 587 km from 8-9 Sep 2006 at Singapore Expo. Each of the eight team members skated three one- hr sessions. The participants were Samantha Thian, Bertrand Chew, Peter Wong, Lim Jun Liang, Manee Chantakett, Jansen Tang, Muhd Khairul Sofri and Sandy Snakenberg. The event was organised by AG Sports and Essential Sports Marketing. It was held in conjunction with Fitness Asia.
Largest Overnight Cycling Expedition
From 30-31 May 2009, the 34th Hwa Chong Outdoor Activities Club, together with Tiong Bahru CC Youth Group, organised an overnight expedition with 314 people taking part. The 19 teams rode off in 10 batches from Playground@Big Splash, cycled all the way to Bukit Batok before returning to the starting point, a distance of 100 km, or for some, a shorter distance of 80 km.
