520 participants hit 67,840 golf balls at the Toa Payoh Golf Range in a 24-hr event from 6-7 Jun 2009. The event was organised by Tampines West CSC.
Greatest Distance On A Rock Wall Scaled By Multiple Climbers In 4 Hr
Tampines West CSC, together with students from six neighbourhood schools - East View Primary School, Junyuan Primary School, Junyuan Secondary School, Springfi eld Secondary School, Tampines Primary School and Tampines Secondary School - spent four hours climbing a total of 11,872m at Springfi eld Secondary School on 15 Aug 2009. Called the Everest Challenge, the target was to exceed the height of Mount Everest (8,848m).
Largest Deep-Sea Fishing Competition
West Coast-CCMC, Ayer Rajah-West Coast NC and E-waves Fishbyte jointly organised a deep-sea fi shing competition. 120 amateur fi shermen set off in the evening from Buroh Lane for the southern islands on 17 Oct 2009 and came back the next morning. Richard Li caught the biggest fi sh – a grouper weighing 12 kg.

Residents of all races in Jurong West set a new world record by making and displaying 14,038 dumplings on 12 Jun 2005. They beat the previous record of 13,192 dumplings set in 2004.

A total of 702 players from 90 teams played 193 games for a continuous stretch of 56 hr. The longest fi ve-a-side futsal match at Tampines Millennium Court from 21-23 Mar 2008 ended in a score of 314 to 301 goals. The event was organised by Tampines West CSC to kick off the Community Sports Festival.

Largest Floorball Tournament Held Over 30 Hr
Tampines West CSC organised the largest fl oor- ball tournament with a total of 172 games played by the 67 teams. The tournament lasted 30 hr from 30-31 Jan 2010 at Tampines West CC.
Most People To Yo-Yo Simultaneously
On 12 Jul 2009, at Ulu Pandan CC, 260 partici- pants played yo-yo together at the same time. The event was organised by the Ulu Pandan Community Club Youth Group.
First 24-Hr 7-A-Side Soccer Tournament
Tampines West CSC organised a 24-hr football tournament at Tampines Stadium from 7-8 Nov 2009. The seven-a-side tournament attracted 47 teams. Each game lasted 15 min.
