BIG TICKET FESTIVAL Ionia County Fairgrounds June 23-25 $10-$395 bigticketfestival.com, (989) 731-2808

“OVER 110 BANDS, 7 stages, 1 big ticket,” prom- ises the slogan for this year’s Big Ticket Festival, the region’s premier Christian music gathering. This description seems pretty accurate, as some of the bands slated to play during the three-day festival are some of the biggest names in Christian music. Come out to the Ionia County Fairgrounds for the artists such as Skillet, Toby Mac, Newsboys, Phillips Craig

& Dean, The Afters, Natalie Grant, Rebecca St. James and a host of other artists, well-known and otherwise; stay for SpringHill Camps’ KidzZone and the plethora of sports activities (Extreme Inflatables! Skateboarding events with Untitled Skate Ministry! The FCA Big Run for the One!). With this amount of sporty and musical stimulation, it’s worth picking up one big ticket for three days’ worth of entertain- ment for everyone in the family. Be sure to check out the one-day and three-day ticket deals for groups, families, and the 6-11 set. If you’re in it for the long haul, available area hotels are listed on the website, as are camping applications for the more “in-tents” festival-goer. Reported by Meaghan Igel
