This environmentally friendly solution is a more competitively priced solution to air pillows, loose fillings, foam or bubble wrap, which are also not always recyclable. Traditional solutions in comparison are often bulky and awkward to fit therefore slowing down the protective packaging process. The Ranpak range is highly shock absorbent, unlike traditional methods which can either transmit the shock to the product or simply become damaged, therefore no longer protecting it sufficiently. The FillPak
void-filling systems and PadPak
cushioning systems, as well as the ECOLINE recyclable paper, have been proven to be the preferred method in a range of industries and use less packaging unlike the patented pad styles. Some protective products lose volume over time causing products to move, however with Xact’s Ranpak range, the protective layer firmly holds products in place, expanding in the box over time for additional protection. Ranpak have always been environmentally friendly protective packaging solution market leaders. The paper produced is 100% recyclable, using materials sourced from natural, renewable, harvested sources in forests where more trees are planted than harvested. Their strong, shock absorbent Kraft paper is free from hazardous chemicals and other substances making it fully biodegradable, decomposable and recyclable, therefore reducing landfill. Being made of a single material means it uses the least amount of energy in its processing and disposal, releasing minimal gasses and when used with cardboard boxes, makes it easy for customers to recycle.
FILLPAK VOID- FILLING SYSTEM This system converts natural untreated Kraft paper at a very high speed into an economical, clean material for void- filling in a range of applications, being
suitable for industries such as pharmaceutical and
cosmetics, catalogues and e- commerce, computer and IT products, medical supplies and equipment and 3rd party logistics. The FillPak system
converts single-ply fold paper into a PaperStar configuration, proven to be geometrically the most effective way of filling a void, using least paper for the greatest protection and is specifically designed to integrate easily either into centralised packaging operations or those using multiple packing stations. The FillPak TT and FillPak M are
compact converters within the range suitable for packing areas where space is limited. The AccuFill void-fill measurement
system used alongside the FillPak system automatically controls the amount of void-fill used and packing operation speed.
PADPAK CUSHIONING SYSTEM This system is ideal for protecting valuable, fragile or awkwardly shaped products as well as being ideal for cushioning, wrapping, blocking & bracing the most fragile products from fine China and surgery kits through to computer monitors and replacement automotive parts. Depending on the required
packaging strength, 1, 2 or 3-ply specialist Kraft paper is separated allowing air to be trapped inside the layers. Inside the patented converting machine the paper layers are crimped together to form a protective cushioning pad which can then be used to safely pack even the most difficult products in the most cost effective way. PadPak is suitable for a range of
industries including automotive and motorised vehicle parts, electronic equipment, electrical lighting,

parts, 3rd party logistics and technical instruments. The PadPak Junior and PadPak
senior machines form heavy cushioning pads, whilst the PadPak LC provides an ideal high-speed solution for light to medium cushioning. The PadPak CC is a compact solution which allows production right at the packers work station and is suitable for small to medium sized boxes.
