Tetra Pak A €100m state-of-the-art packaging material factory for Tetra Pak has begun construction in Chakan, India. The plant is designed to meet the growing demand for carton packaged dairy beverages and fruit-based drinks in India, South and Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Initially, the plant is anticipated to have an annual production capacity of 8.5bn packages. However, it is expected that the plant will have the potential to meet output of 16bn packages a year.
