Leading glass packaging manufacturer, Beatson Clark, showcased its diverse range of products to an excited audience at two recent industry exhibitions. machines Gainsborough Engineering, supplier to the packaging industry for more than 40 years, showed its range of Vertical Form Fill & Seal machines at the Packaging Innovations show this year. The machines, which are often supplied to the market leaders in the food industry, use a modular concept in which the frame size is determined by the bag size. Optional components are then selected by the user, enabling maximum flexibility in order for a system to be chosen that meets that person’s specific needs. Other components that can be chosen specifically by the user include the type of drive, pneumatics, plc and electronics through to the type of feed interface. A four corner seal bag format is not the only offering from Gainsborough either.
