Technology like this is a priority for Myers. “This industry is pretty archaic as far as that goes,” he says. “This is the new way to advertise for contractors. I would say 90 per- cent of contractors are not even looking or thinking about this.” Internet marketing puts his company far ahead of the game.


So what does the future hold for B & C Blacktop & Sealcoating?


“I think the future for us looks really bright if it ever stops raining!” Myers jokes about the wet spring he has had. “We are positioned very well. I have more work sold than I probably ever have at this time of year. It is just a matter of the weather to get out and get it done now.”


This is certainly good news for B & C Blacktop & Seal- coating and is a very hopeful sign the economy is indeed bouncing back. Despite the slumps in the industry, it is clear B & C Blacktop & Sealcoating will not only survive but thrive because of a decision to diversity years ago.
