The Victoria Falls Marathon – Annually in August Looking for a challenge? Why not attempt the Victoria Falls half or full marathon which will take you through the town of Victoria Falls across the bridge, briefly into Zambia giving runners some of the most breathtaking views in Africa, along the Zambezi River and back into town.


Victoria Falls Mountain Bike Challenge – Annually in May/June This three-day cycle event comprises of a combination of single track, rural roads and a small amount of tar. Whilst the race is a challenge for the fast, competitive riders, it will also be a great event for social riders. Some spectacular, un-ridden sections will allow riders some great views of one of Zimbabwe’s most scenic areas.


Zambezi Man – Annually in August This unique event, takes place in Victoria Falls. It consists of white water rafting on grade 5 rapids for approximately 50 km on day one, then on day two test your mountain biking skills on a timed race over some very rugged terrain; finally on day three run a 42.2 km marathon to complete the race.


Harare Jazz Festival – Annually in April The annual Harare Jazz Festival includes a line-up of leading national and international artists performing at venues around the city.


Harare International Festival of Arts – Annually in April The Harare International Festival of the Arts annually presents a six day festival and workshop that showcases the best of local, regional and international performing and visual arts in a comprehensive program of theatre, dance, music, circus, street performance and spoken word.
