Magnum gets
TV series boost Pistol manufacturing expert Magnum Research and its parent company, Kahr Arms, enjoyed a hugely positive NRA Show thanks to the guest appearance of two American television stars on its booth. Todd and Jack Hoff man from popular Discovery Channel programme ‘Gold Rush: Alaska’ both appeared on the Kahr Arms stand at the show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania back at the end of last month.
Magnum Research is an offi cial
partner of the television series and supplies products to both Todd and Jack for use in the show.

Hindsight – Worst/best decision? To wait as long as I did to fi nd a home in the
fi rearm industry. I have felt right at home since day one. Business icon? One of my former bosses, Anthony Napolitano. He was endlessly energetic, positive and always championed change. Great aspiration? First, to be able to walk into any sporting goods retailer in America and fi nd a PTR product on the shelf. Second, I would like to match that accomplishment globally.

Insight – Main objective? Simple – to grow as a company. I think the most

We have the ability to change with the market, and oh yeah… we just happen to manufacture the most modern, accurate, and reliable G3 on the market!
Foresight – How will business develop in the next 12 months? We are currently in
the late stages of developing a hunting rifl e that will open a whole new world of opportunity for us. Which emerging market will be the biggest? PTR’s next major focus will be in exportation. We feel that there is a great amount of opportunity for us and initial talks have been encouraging. Business philosophy? PTR’s philosophy starts with its people. From the front offi ce to the factory, we all enjoy our work and have great working relationships with each other. T is kind of working environment translates into positive results…
