Bulb onions from sets Bejo/De Groot en Slot are breeding varieties with characteristics specifically suited to set production. Our range includes the listed varieties:
Troy F1 – brown hybrid recommended for autumn planting.
Forum F1 – brown hybrid which gives attractive round bulbs fromspring planting.
Stur BC 20 –maincrop standard. An outstanding selection.
Reddawn F1 – low heat treatment requirement allows for early planting. Reddawn gives good yields of attractive bulb.
Hyred F1 – very reliable, uniformmaincrop variety
Overwintering brown bulb onion
Element F1 A very early Japanese overwintering hybrid. Globe, uniform onions with a good shape and a good bolting tolerance. Produces good quality onions suitable for freshmarket.
NEW Bridger F1 A few
days later than Element, Bridger has good bolting resistance, a nice shape and improved skin.

Seed is graded for precision sowing and is treated with fungicides for control of damping-off diseases. Force ST can be applied according to the SOLA for the control of bean seed fly and onion fly upon request. UK 226 is also available upon request for seed treatment against white rot. Selected varieties are also pelleted; please refer to price list for cultivar availability.
