She had a youthful spirit and strong determination. She will be most remembered for her compassionate and giving nature.

of Windham, passed away early May 6, 2011, at the Exeter Hospital. Rita was born in


Lawrence, MA, married to the late Gilbert Chadwick, she moved to Windham in 1947 with their eight

Chadwick and his wife Barbara of Terra Bonne, OR, and Kenneth Chadwick and his wife Dorothy of Dover; one daughter, Marie Johnson of Windham; three daughters-in-law, MaryAnne Chadwick of Carbondale, CO, Jeanette Chadwick of Colorado, and Ann Chadwick of Athol, MA; 28 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her five sons, George


Chadwick of Carbondale, CO; Gilbert Chadwick of Sacramento, CA; James Chadwick of San Luis, CO; Albert Chadwick of Windham, and Clifford Chadwick of Athol, MA. A funeral Mass was celebrated on May 11 at St. Matthew’s Church in Windham followed by burial at Cemetery on the Hill in Windham. Contributions may be made to the American
