an 18W compact fluorescent lamp. This allows Crayon to replace, without major effort, conventional downlights with more efficient and more durable LED luminaires. The three-storey office building, with a total floor space of 1,500 sq m, adjoins the warehouse above the goods-in area and is covered by a high-quality aluminium façade. The office spaces were implemented without any supporting elements, thus allowing for flexible room use. In line with the modern building structure, Zumtobel developed an equally modern office lighting concept based on a special product solution of the Crayon LED downlight: fitted with 48W, 122 square Crayon LED downlights, in the special size of 625 mm, were mounted flush with the ceiling, which ensures flexibility in the use of rooms. The warm light colour of 4000K not only creates pleasant and uniform ambient lighting, it also boasts a long service life, provides for colour-stable lighting, is maintenance-free and dimmable. Continuing with LED technology, the Zante LED Flat Panel luminaire range from RELCO Group UK has been developed to provide a low energy solution for illuminating commercial environments. Suitable for use in offices, corridors and ancillary areas, its opal diffuser provides an evenly distributed light source that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Offering a primary light source that minimises energy consumption, the effectiveness of the Zante design enables it to consume 70 per cent less energy than

standard 4x 18W or 2 x 58W ceiling luminaires, whilst achieving the same even lighting effect and almost the same luminance. The Zante’s slim 20mm profile comes in two models, the 600 x 600 Zante LED Q, which can be close ceiling, suspended or ‘grid’ installed, and the 1200 x 300 Zante LED R for use in close ceiling or suspended applications. The LED Q model has been designed for use with exposed “T” suspended panel ceiling systems, or like the R model can be suspended using the optional mounting kit. Where required, the Zante LED Q can be used with an optional frame, enabling it to be mounted within plasterboard false ceilings or for wall mounting. To maximise energy efficiencies, the Zante Q uses 20W of LED, whilst the ‘R’ model utilises 40W of LED. Offering a choice of warm white (4000k) and cool white (6000k), these luminaires enable specifiers to achieve the desired colour rendering to suit the specific demands of a particular lighting scheme.
