Ο καιρός ήταν αίθριος με ηλιοφάνεια και απαλό αεράκι από τον Μιστρά (Μαΐστρος - ΒΔ) όπως λένε και οι ντόπιοι. Το σκάφος ανταποκρίθηκε επαρκώς σε όλους του χειρισμούς, το πλανάρισμα ήρθε γρήγορα και υπήρξε σταθερότητα και καλή ανταπόκριση σε κάθε μας ελιγμό. Η θέση του κυβερνήτη είναι καλά προσαρμοσμένη, η ορατότητα κρίνεται ικανοποιητική και τα χειριστήρια σε σωστή θέση. H διακυβέρνηση είναι αρκετά απλή, τα μεγάλα και καθαρά όργανα πληροφορούν ανά πάσα στιγμή και βρίσκονται σε καλή γωνία ως προς τον κυβερνήτη. Οι κινητήρες της Volvo έκαναν εξαιρετική δουλειά και το σύστημα IPS με τις προπέλες «πρόσωπο» στη πλώρη φάνηκαν να συνεργάζονται αρμονικά με τη γάστρα. Η ταχύτητα κρουαζιέρας του σκάφους στήθηκε στις 2000 στροφές περίπου με 25 κόμβους, αρκετά ικανοποιητικά αν αναλογιστούμε το μαΐστρο που είχε δυναμώσει ακόμη περισσότερο όσο εμείς ταξιδεύαμε. Με λίγο μαεστρία στο τιμόνεμα, το σκάφος ταξίδευε πολύ ισορροπημένα, στα πρύμα το full ahead και 2550 στροφές έδειξε στο Gps πάνω από 30 κόμβους.
The weather was clear and sunny with a gentle breeze coming from Mistra (Mistral, the northwester) according to the locals. The boat responded well to all manoeuvres, whereas the planing came quickly. There was good stabil- ity and response at all times. The helm seat is properly fitted while visibility was satisfactory and the controls were in the right place. Steering is fairly simple since the large and clear displays of the several instruments located at a perfect angle to the helmsman update us at all times. The Volvo engines did an excellent job and the IPS system with the propellers facing the bow seemed to be working in tune with the hull. The boat’s cruising speed was at around 2000 rpm, reaching a quite satisfactory 25 knots, given the mistral which was growing stronger while we were under- way. With a little skill in steering, the boat was considerably stable during the cruise. When running full ahead at 2550 rpm the GPS showed more than 30 knots.
