MIDNIGHT TANGO STARRING STRICTLY’S

VINCENT & FLAVIA VINCENT and FLAVIA are bringing their spectacular show, Midnight Tango to Plymouth Pavilions from Tuesday 31st May until Saturday 4th June 2011,

including matinee performances on both the Wednesday and Saturday.

With their stunning Tango routines, Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace have dazzled television audiences for the last six series of the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing; and now they’ve created their own live show, ‘Midnight Tango’, which breathtakingly brings all the drama, sensuality and elegance of this most exciting of dance forms to life. Set in a late night bar in downtown Buenos Aires, and featuring some of the finest Tango dancers in the world, ‘Midnight Tango’ takes you on a journey into the heart of this intoxicating city. As danger and excitement, joy and jealousy, pain and passion all combine, this is a spectacular and explosive evening not to be missed. At the prospect of touring the country in ‘Midnight Tango’, Flavia says,

“Vincent and I have been performing since a very young age, all over the world and in ballrooms all around the United Kingdom. We have had only a small taster of performing on a stage this year and it was a thrilling experience. The fact that we can finally tour with our own Argentine tango show is so exciting, it’s difficult to put into words how we feel. We hope that, as always, we will have amazing support all round the British Isles and we hope to bring a little passion into people’s lives...”

The nationwide tour of ‘Midnight Tango’ is produced by Arlene Phillips and Adam Spiegel. According to Arlene, “Watching Vincent & Flavia performing their Argentine tango, I feel, is as thrilling as dance gets. They have thrilled audiences on Strictly Come Dancing, and their new theatre show is a great opportunity for people up and down the country to see them live and feel the excitement.”
