event in aid of an amazing local charity, JEREMIAH’S JOURNEY, which offers support services to bereaved children.


THE two mothers of three made the decision to trek the Great Wall of China this October, a gruelling twelve day trek that will see them walking over difficult and sometimes treacherous terrain with the most basic facilities available. Whilst self-funding the trip they realised it would make sense to do it for something. Rather than feeling awkward at having to ask friends and supporters for yet more money in these difficult times Kerry said “ we wanted to offer people the chance to get something for giving in real terms” and from this concept BEAUTY TREK was born!


On the 26th May this year between 7pm - 10pm


at The Duke of Cornwall Hotel visitors can have an evening of meeting various exhibitors and watching demos related to the beauty, health and wellbeing industry whereby everything from hair care advice, dentistry, cosmetics, chiropractic, fashion, beauty tips and much more will be available all under one roof.


Jaqueline said “visitors to BEAUTY TREK will


have the chance to have consultations with various industry experts, watch demos regarding cosmetic opportunities and alternative solutions whilst socialising with friends”. Even the children are involved with Kerry’s daughter’s dance crew, THE RUPTORS, performing for this brilliant Plymouth- based charity that offers support and information to children and their families when someone special has died.


There will be at least 15 exhibitors to hand,


several demos and a welcome drink and goodybag for every visitor to take home. 12


Two local mums and long term friends Kerry Hamilton and Jaqueline Watson contemplated where they had got to in their lives one sunny day on Plymouth Hoe last year and decided to set themselves a challenge that would no doubt be a life changing
